They also state that urban planning creates better citizens and a better city; a point of view that has been successful in Singapore. In addition, they mention that the development of the industry in the city can transform the business and the economy of a country.

Our Research-show-tell-task is about ecocity, a large innovative project with high tecnology and eco friendly.
Hamburg, german city, has won the award for the greenest city in Europe in 2010. This city takes place the first complex creative - fully sustainable industrial; is ecocity.
The development Eco City, designed by TEC architecture with the help of ARUP, aims to attract industry, entertainment and pedestrian life back to the neighborhood. Eco City’s ten major structures, ranging in size from studios to large warehouses, offer a variety of -different spaces for different purposes, bringing both large-scale industry and creative start-ups together in one, cooperative, and eco friendly business community-. Eco City represents a synergistic approach to urban development. By working in close cooperation with all the stakeholders and taking into consideration the immediate environmental context of the project, has been created a differenttype of sustainable, creative – industrial complex.
The first phase of the project was completed in 2009 and the second, including a high-rise tower and a large office complex, is planned to be finished by the summer of 2010.
Ecocity Projects, Organic and Energy concept, whose goal is self- sufficiency, creating a smaller ecological impact on the environment. It is a self-sustaining resource that does not exploit or pollute the environment but seeks to coexist in harmony with its surroundings. This is ensured by the implementation of twenty-first century technologies such as: Wind Turbines; Solar Energy, through solar water heaters, solar cells and photovoltaic panels; Green roofs planted with a large trees and flowers; and Sustainable Materials. We chose ecocity for our Research-show-tell-task, because it is an innovative project that unites architecture and urban planning at the same time being eco friendly using new technology.
